B) it sounded like Jason was typing on some sort (one assumes steampunk) bongo to keyboard converter contraption anytime he was at the keyboard. C)Gaiman book for kids: Wolves in the Walls (sort of picture book, sort of graphic novel). FYI: Stardust has at least one sex scene (which may not be appropriate for a 7 year old), even if it's not terribly graphic. Coraline is a little scary, but in a good way and if somebody is asking you for advice for a 7 year old then it's probably OK. I've not read his other older one for kids...
