Supporting Podfic Authors
Many of you know, but some of you may not, that some podiobook authors are moving from audio to print, some very effectively. Our first superstar, Scott Sigler, came out with a new book April 1 from Random House, Infected.
If you’ve been interested in this novel, if you’ve enjoyed Sigler’s free audio before, do yourself and podcasting authors a favor and pick it up now. We’re trying to make a big impact with this book, because the better Scott looks in his first couple of weeks on shelves, the better the rest of us look. Also, Scott works hard and is an excellent writer. This isn’t a pity sale here, this is a recommendation. (don’t take my word for it – Entertainment Weekly also has weighed in) So if you haven’t already, check out Infected (the audio is free, after all) and pick up a copy. Scott’s been giving away free content for years. It’s time to thank him for it.

You rock Mur, I hope to be spreading the news of podfiction with my next blog post. Should be up in a couple days.
Just bought Infected at B&N two minutes ago (along with Michael Ehart’s Servant of the Manthycore and Carrie Vaughn’s Kitty and the Silver Bullet). Can’t wait for them to drop on my doorstep.
