Cory Doctorow releases Little Brother
One of my favorite guests from I Should Be Writing, Cory Doctorow, has a new book out! A YA book focusing on kids, online rights and Homeland Security, Little Brother is available in hardcover and audiobook. Cory’s strongly against DRM – digital rights management – and refuses to release his book through Audible or iTunes until they give artists a DRM-free option. You can get the audiobook off his site, or at eMusic through their audiobook program (but sign up or upgrade to the two-credit-a-month option).
And Cory was kind enough to let me put Chapter 1 in my feed so that you’ll be able to sample the book. Thanks Cory, and I hope you all like this treat!

Okay, so that’s it. I’m no longer subscribing to ISBW.
When I first saw this title on my playlist, I thought it was from The Onion. I expected it to start with “Cory Doctorow releases his little brother. Doyle Redland reporting.” Boy was I surprised.
Also, thanks for putting up the Murverse feed. I’m finally going to switch over to that for now. I’ll no longer need the ISBW feed.

Does it reflect badly on me if the book is targeted at a YA audience but I’m riveted to the Chapter 1 sample as a 23 year old? Or does it go to show how great Mr. Doctorow is? Wow, I think I’m going to buy this one.
