On the other hand, the King could be very young (10+, and just ascended to the throne), and so Kelly seems ancient.Maybe the King just wanted someone intelligent to talk with. Maybe the other residents of the kingdom all seem very dim to the King, and Kelly is the only person that the King wants to spend time with.Or maybe Kelly was his old teacher, and she has forgotten that detail.Or maybe -- on a totally different track -- Kelly is the only living person who can still give birth, and the King is calling her forth to -- yet again -- perform this duty for the kingdom.
