The News From Poughkeepsie – Day 42
Character sketch Mondays:
Penelope is a death goddess. She wasn’t born with the name Penelope – she wasn’t born, actually. One of many death deities, she finally realized that after thousands of years doing the same job, it was time for a change. So she worked in a slaughterhouse for some time, then as an executioner during the French Revolution, then as a hired assassin, then a brief stint as a vet assistant to help with euthanasia. But recently Penelope has discovered something. She has a green thumb.

Why am I suddenly hearing the theme music to Dead Like Me? This doesn’t come across as being like that show at all.
It was a good show though. Maybe that’s why.
I’m rambling.
Actually I’m thinking more about Highlander…
Omni: That actually makes me think of an idea I had way back when I was young, about a married couple who were both immortal who go into therapy and basically drive their shrink insane.
Hey, I was 12, and obsessed with Mad About You, cut me some slack.
An immortal married couple. Wow, I can think of so many issues that could come up. It would make for an interesting story. Hahaha..
