ISBW Video Podcast #002 – Feedback and Excuses
Try not to be drinking anything during the first five seconds. On my end, it was mildly amusing, but on the viewer’s end, it’s much funnier.
Show notes:
- Read the Google Docs TOS
- I use a Flip Camera
to record.
- Another backup method: Dropbox
- Also, I’m remiss in talking about the blog comments in the podcast. I need to rectify that. Till then, there are good comments in the original post.

Hi Mur,
I enjoy all of your output and I have been a fan for three to four years; from the very beginning of I Should Be Writing.
Life, good news, bad news and even the indifferent news all can exhaust one but it’s important that we do not let the bastards win, under any circumstances, One sets one’s goals and it’s oneself and the promises to oneself that one is prone to break first yet these promises should be the most sacred.
I hope that you can get yourself clear of that which is pulling you back. Keep up the great work and all the best to you and your family – all the way from bonnie Scotland.

Yay for video podcast number two! Another awesome video; I especially enjoyed the glimpse of the “little brown dog”! In all seriousness, the subject matter was perfect timing for me — I have been using far too many excuses lately and am getting sick of putting things on the good ol’ “back burner.” I’m hoping to keep this video in mind when my lazy side attempts to lure me toward the television instead of the laptop. Thank you again for all you have done and continue to do with this podcast!
i hate you just for the background poster!!
Playing for Keeps the Musical?
Yeah I’d pay to see that.
Pay to see it? I’d pay to be in it!
great post! When are the auditions being held? Do we need to come to a central location or is it going to be an American Idol type thing with Judges:
Matt Wallace
Matthew Wayne Selznick
JC Hutchins
Love the video podcasts, Mur. What really gets me are your own onscreen comments — priceless!
