Mur,
I’m a fan. Like your stuff & podcasts. BUT– I’m disappointed in the production of “Solitary as an Oyster.” It hurts my head! I can’t listen to it a) at the Y, my normal M-O nor b) in the car, secondary-podcast-zone. The flange-ey voice effect is just… hard to make out, and the tones are just PAINFUL. So, catching only every 3rd word (are my jog-friendly earphones THAT bad??), I’m listening to it in the silent kitchen doing party cleanup (UGG). Just thought I’d let you know. (Paused right after the return-from-past scene to drop this note.) I hope I can catch a re-broadcast or text version some time so I can fully appreciate. Best, Helen E. What Helen said – just catching up w/back eps of EP, have very much enjoyed your past Xmas stories there, but gave up trying to understand this one 15min in. Stumbled over this blog post looking for a text version because I hate the *reading*, but would really like to get the *story*.
